That's bloody RIDDICK-ulous...

I went to see Riddick, and i wasn't best pleased. The story started out very vaugue and then continued to be vague, and people died. and then it sorta ended.

I found it very difficult to focus on a specific object as EVERYTHING was in focus (Useless Greenscreens) and i kept going crosseyed.

Taking all the negative stuff into account, the actual special affects weren't too bad, but overall it was rubbish and so was the story.

I wasted money today.

Why are you doing Game Design?

So, the main reason i want to do game design is, when i was younger, i aspired to be like the main character in most video games. As soon as it hit me that i would never be crawling through caves, or killing dinosaurs, i realised that i would love to create video games and make a hero of my own; Someone that i could control and decide their actions. I've always loved the idea that ANYBODY in modern society can pick up a game engine and get making the game that they've always wanted to play.

Making a game can be very simple, depending on what game you make but it can also be very difficult if team members don't stick to a schedule or mess you around. I've experienced both sides of the story and i definately prefer the first option.

Overall i figured, if i take game dev, web dev and tv+film, i'd have all the important aspects of a computer at my fingertips, and i'd be able to create anything or become anyone.

And that, is why i chose Game Design.

Welcome one and all!

So, i started this blog to: 1. share my thoughts, and 2. share my work. I hope you stay a while and read what i have to say, if not, BYE!

Don't expect anything life changing or inspirational either, i don't roll that way.
